The kid won't have a story to tell his grandkids about.
The problem is that the stage was at a lower elevation than most of the crowd. At events like this, they usually have the stage on a higher platform.
So the vast majority of attendees could hear Obama -- but couldn't see him.
Not very good planning, if you ask me.
I hope I see that angle in the video on Obama's website.
I don't like heights, but the chance for that shot was not one to pass up.
There were a half dozen workers on a roof across the street. Those guys probably had the best seats in the house!
