Just as a heads up -- John Edwards will be at the Rappaports' house for a high-dollar fundraiser on Thu 2/15. A local activist (finance co-chair from McNerney's campaign) is trying to arrange to have him stop by some public location in Woodside, ahead of that event -- probably some time between 4:30 and 5:30 -- for a short public rally. If that does get scheduled, I'll post more info.
I'm not 100% committed behind Edwards yet -- I'm still nursing my wounds from Warner anti-announcing, and dreaming that maybe Gore will get in. But I definitely think he's the most promising of the candidates who has announced thus far, and I really respect what he's doing with OneCorps -- including a direct call to public service in his campaign strategy, so that working for him will mean also working for your community.
