My friends in West Covina reported canvassers coming to their door from "Yes on 8". They knew my friends had children and said "you're voting yes, right? After all, you have children..." Fortunately, my friends played like they wanted more information, but these pressure tactics are scary.

And I don't believe the young couple that was canvassing decided to volunteer on their own. There's too much Big Religion behind it.

So I'm glad that individuals can help raise enough to fight it. Keep giving!

Invasion from Utah (0.00 / 0)

I am in the far NW line of L.A.  We have been infiltrated by religious zealots from Utah.  They stand in front of all the schools every morning handing out literature and telling parents that homosexuality is going to be taught in public schools.
I go up to them and tell them they are teaching hate and bigotry in front of OUR children and WE will not stand for it!
