I'm going through and consolidating election night parties around the state.  If you have any information about other events, post a comment and i'll try to include it in the main post. I posted a list of a lot more parties on the flip. Hi--this is my first comment here. I'm hqed up in Humboldt, where except for local races and issues, the campaign has been real remote. FYI my blog today has my votes in today's CA primary:

Cool, do you want to put these up in a diary? (0.00 / 0)
Just click on "New diary" in the upper right corner and it's pretty self-explanatory.

I think?

On Garamendi... (0.00 / 0)
Do you think voting for him and against Speier really makes that much of a statement?  It's not like Speier is in the pockets of State Farm or anything.  (Disclosure: I voted for Speier, mostly based on her "up and coming" factor.) I don't want to attack your picks, just a philisophical question more than anything else.

sorry (0.00 / 0)
I've been gone most of the day.  A diary at this point wouldn't make sense but thanks for the invite.

I do think voting Garamendi makes a statement, though I'm not dissing Speier.  The impression that powerful corporations can end a political career is worth trying to counter.
